Meet the Owner/Founder…
Greetings! My name is Cynthia McMillian and I am the owner/founder/master decorator of Perfect Cynt’s Event Planning & Decor, LLC. The business name was coined by an old friend who enjoys word play. Being that my nickname is “Cynt,” he suggested “Perfect Cynt’s” and I immediately embraced it because it made “PERFECT SENSE!” 😊
After teaching science in the public school system for over 13 years, I felt it was time to venture outside of the classroom and embrace my 2nd passion—event planning/decorating. During the transition, I was reminded of this scripture: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men,” Colossians 3:23 (KJV). This scripture resonates with me because it is a true reflection of the work I accomplish as an event planner, decorator, and educator. I intentionally strive to give my BEST effort in whatever task/role I’m pursing or working in not only for my clients, but more because it’s a direct reflection of utilizing my God-given natural gifts.
I started this business because I believe that people should be able to experience elegance without it costing them their life savings which is reflected in my extremely affordable prices! In order to ensure that to my clients, I utilize every resource available to create exquisite decor and special event planning within their budget.
